Following an outstanding season in which Cedit took the lead in an unprecedented experimentation on the materials and stylistic fronts, Florim is relaunching this historical brand. Having been created with the desire to explore new methods of expression that could characterize the culture of lifestyle, this company made its mark on the 20th-century scenario in a unique adventure, associating itself with the prestigious names of Marco Zanuso, Ettore Sottsass, Enzo Mari, Alessandro Mendini, among others.
We had the honor to collaborate with the company for the relaunch of the brand, designing a collection of ceramic tiles.
In line with a design method that investigates space-time relationships and identifies the signs of history in the hidden recesses of the familiar places where daily life is lived, for CEDIT we presented the Storie collection, comprising six different sets of wall coverings, inscribed with the theme of the relentless passage of time. Each piece represents in a unique way a characteristic Italian interior landscape.
Storie won the NYCxDESIGN Award 2016, prize promoted by the eminent Interior Design Magazine, the Red Dot Design Award as Best of the Best in the product design category and The good design award 2018.
